Lain always delivers a meaty story along with a touching romance. Tara Lain's Love in Laguna series is a favorite of mine. I'm thinking this may be my favorite of the series so far. The wrap up is heartwarming, exciting, sexy, and full of promise. We see Rene, the film director, the dog emergency, folks misconceptions of Tom, and Merle's realizations. Their feeling are real, but how can they work when Merle will be away filming a movie? There is a twist with Tom's sister, Lily. Our characters are complicated and yet it is simple enough. Tom and Merle begin a hot and heavy sexual relationship, surprising, sizzling, and meaningful. Meanwhile, our MCs share lunch, go to the shelter, Tom goes to the studio filming, dancing, and lots more. He's intrigued about Tom.Īt a dinner with friends, he meets a movie director, who wants Merle for a film. Merle is a TV star on a vampire show, with blonde wavy He keeps his two small dogs at the house where he rents a room from a nice older lady.
